FORBES VIETNAM BUSINESS FORUM 2019 – NAVIGATING THE DIGITAL AGE
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) estimates Vietnam’s economy to grow 6.8% in 2019, the highest growth rate in the region. The first half of the year has seen the country’s business environment favorable with stable interest and exchange rates, inflation under control while industry and service sectors are steadily growing.
Meanwhile, the US-China trade tensions are causing uncertainties to the global economy. The confrontations between the world’s two largest economies have negative implications on trade, investments and monetary policies.
In recent years, the platform economy has created disruptions in transportation, accommodation, tourism and finance. How an open economy like Vietnam will deal with the risks and impacts in the context of international economic and technological upheavals?
In order to identify both opportunities and challenges, Forbes Vietnam organizes a business forum under the theme “Navigating the Digital Age.” This event will gather leading business leaders and economic experts to discuss and recommend the new strategies to do business in the new global context.
