Grand Palace in Bangkok outpaces the Eiffel Tower, Great Pyramids and Colosseum to make the list of the World’s 50 Most Visited Tourist Attractions
This list by Travel+Leisure magazine is based on the gate count. Iconic riverfront Grand Palace in Bangkok draws 8 million visitors a year making it lusted as the eighth most visited attraction in Asia. And 40th place in the magazine’s world’s top 50 list, sharing the rating with Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC and Pier 39 in San Francisco, that also that claimed 8 million annual visits.

Grand Bazaar (Istanbul, Turkey):
91.25 million visits.
The Zocalo (Mexico City):
85 million visits.
Times Square (New York City):
50 million visits.
