Business in Malaysia, is it easy or difficult?
World Bank Group every year ranks economies of the world on their ease of doing business. In 2017 Doing Business year’s report covers 11 indicator sets and 190 economies around the globe.

The ranking for economy of Malaysia as to 2017
in several selected indicators are as following:
Ease of doing business: 23
Starting Business: 112
Construction permits: 13
Paying taxes: 60
Trading across borders: 60

It means that in 22 countries of the world it is easier to do business, than in Malaysia. But in 167 other countries of the world business formalities are considered as less favorable, comparing to Malaysia.
