The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) is a government organization that performs its role as the main promoter of Thai exports with following missions: expand the markets for Thai products and services; develop and create added value for exported products and services; provide trade information and enhance the potential of Thai exporters in the global market.
Goods intended for export from Thailand are subject to normal export procedures and Customs control. Nowadays applications for an Export Declaration are submitted electronically via the e-Export system.
Exporters/ importers with good record and reliable background who meet the Customs established criteria are granted gold card status.
Gold card holders are granted with various privileges relating to processing Customs procedures.
