Vietnam: SOS Children’s Villages


Meaningful weekend experience with Runner-up Mrs World Nguyen Thu Huong and her family at SOS Children’s Villages Vietnam.

Entrepreneur Nguyen Hoai Nam, Mrs Nguyen Thu Huong and their children were having unforgettable experiences at SOS Children’s Villages Ben Tre.

A SOS Children’s Villages International is a non-govermental, non-political, non-religious and independent organization that aims to support children who are abandoned, orphaned and not received enough care from their families their from 136 countries and territories in the world. In Vietnam, the village was established in 1987 and has presented in 17 cities and provinces until now.

As entrepreneurs who are always busy working but Mr Nguyen Hoai Nam and Mrs Nguyen Thu Huong are also interested in doing public charity. In July 20, their family friendly came and gave presents to SOS Children’s Villages, which they considered as the things they should do to help the kids to have a better life.
When they arrived at the village after a busy day, smiles always appeared on their faces since they were received joyful atmosphere at the village. They also ate food that were made from Moms at the village and played happily with the children at a big yard.

When being asked about the reason why she spent her free time at weekend in the village, Mrs Thu Huong said: “Our aim is to teach Tom and Ben about love and sharing when we took them to the village. This will be their meaningful weekend and we hope that before becoming a successful person, our children should be a man with love and kindness.”

When looking at Tom and Ben playing with other children, we can feel that they are teaching their children in a right way. Not only did they show their children about the meaning of live but they also became Goodwill Ambassadors of the SOS village in 2019.

With their success in work like Mrs Thu Huong is a founder and operator of the two biggest entrepreneur network in Vietnam: Women Leader International Network and Business Style International Network. And Mr Nguyen Hoai Nam has a good relationship with other entrepreneurs in all over the world, they hope that through their ambassador role, they will attract more attention from the government, companies and donators both in Vietnam and all over the world to work together to give the children in SOS village to have a better life and also contribute to the improvement of the society.
